Fe stands for ferrous; Iron from which the Moira TMT bars is manufactured. The number 500 indicates that the Yield Strength of steel is 500 N/mm².
Fe 500 CRS Grade has been specified by Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) in a documented standard IS 1786:2008. Bars made by Fe 500 have a great bendability as they are produced under regulated manufacturing process
The bars made by Fe 500 CRS can yield minimum stress of 500 N/mm2; stronger than 415 N/mm2 by~20%. Usage of Fe-500 CRS also results in consumption of lesser number of TMT Bars to hold the complete structure as compared to Fe-415.
Moira TMT Sariya grade is superior to others on account of being resistantce to rust and , bendable along with an unmatched welding strength. This proves to be a perfect combination between concrete and steel where great compressible power, relatively low tensile strength and ductility of steel compliments Moira TMT steel bars.
Also, Moira Fe-500 CRS gives 20% cost savings as compared to FE-415 steel bars because of its superior structural strength that makes it a perfect choice for any kind of construction – commercial or residential.
